‘Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire word, stimulation progress, giving birth to evolution’ – Said Albert Einstein in 1929.
Almost a century later these words aren’t any less relatable. The only restriction is our own imagination.
The Victoria & Albert museum holds ‘Video Games: Design/Play/Disrupt’ exhibition which has absolutely blown my mind. In this world there is nothing impossible; any dreams can become truth. So many amazing game designs, from the plot idea to the finish simulation, were shown in the design/play part. At that moment inlife I really wanted one day to be able to make a similar animation. Since then I have been trying to work more digitally, even I haven’t ever done it before.
My projects inspired by the exhibition:
After the fun part came time for contemplations and conclusion. Disrupt has taught important, very often not considered, parts of video games. Stereotyping that games are made for man only; sexualization of woman figure; racism and many more.
